I can see your eyes
From across the room
You've got the biggest smile
But the saddest eyes
You've got a knife in your pocket
And some bandages in your bag
You asked to be excused
To watch the sink flow with blood
You walk back into the room
With that same plastic look on your face
And with some new bracelets on
You act as if nothing is wrong and everything is fine
I can't be the only one to notice
Your scars can fade but they will always remain
They're reminders of your pain not decorations of this new age
These bad habits need to end and new habits must begin
Put the razor down
Put the razor down (4x)
What the fuck are you doing with yourself, you wont listen to reasoning so maybe you'll listen to your mother's tears
All people ever do is try to help you and
All you ever see is the
Negativity in everything
So man up and face your
Fears because there's
Nothing to be scared of if there's nothing there
All you are is selfish now
Especially when you go up with the bottle and across with the blade
Nothing is fine
Nothing is ok
Just admit it because
Everyone has noticed
Your scars can fade but they will always remain
They're reminders of your pain not decorations of this new age
These bad habits need to end and new habits must begin
Put the razor down

Your Burden

I know what you're doing,
Nothing left to hide.
Nothing left for you but to die.
So what if I said
You could go on and pretend
And I wont mind 'cause you'll end up without a paddle in the end.
Go and lift a burden from my chest.
Take with you the memories so my mind can finally rest
The emptiness that shut out the light in my life. Will have made me stronger, once you're out of my sight. I guess I didn't know what I had 'til it was gone. Now I know it was nothing but a headache.
Go and lift a burden from my chest.
Take with you the memories so my mind can finally rest.
Hell of a high is coming on

Without Voice

There was once a young man who walked all the earth searching, just searching for someone who would hear him
But he was never heard
He ran through towns and cities just hoping that someone would hear him or maybe even see him but he was all alone
He was the wind
He was a ghost
He was invisible to all
He was all alone
He ran away to the mountains
In search for a new life
But he was running away from his dreams
He was a child
And then one day he stood on a cliff over looking the city and thought to himself "no one will ever hear me, no one would ever care" and then he turned around and there was a girl but as their eyes met, the ground started to rumble. He reached for her hand but it was too late, it was just too late...
He began to FALL
He fell to his demise
He screamed "Why? Why would you do this to me? All I've wanted was to be heard but now you've sent me to hell."

Chiropteran

There are these things inside your mind, things that can not be expressed by words, these thoughts can change the world you just need to open your eyes and see all of the wasted time. We've all been brainwashed and lied to by the ones who claim to lead us All they are are crooks in ties and business suits who say they'll feed us They've taken innocent lives whose ghosts now hunger for revenge, they crave the blood of our worthless leaders, we need to overthrow the ones who say they will show us the way
Look at these hands, caked with mud and my brothers' blood. You keep us here on our knees, to serve the unjust and feed those drunk with greed.
So elect in us your new generation not in oil or your god of creation
All I see are ghosts around me lives of the innocent taken by seconds in time they all tell me the same thing "I see dead men walking you've all been reduced to nothing your monsters of leaders have taken all control and power you're all wasted"
Look at these hands, caked with mud and my brothers' blood. You keep us here on our knees, to serve the unjust and feed those drunk with greed. Look at this face, plastered with apathy. You keep us here on our knees, nothing in the world for those like me.
Well I say to them "we've been reduced to hope we will stand tall and fight back we will take what is ours and find new hope for the world we are the future of our lives we will do what we want with it and make it a better place the crooks in ties and business suits will have wished they had nothing to do with us when we rise from the ruins of our homes."
